Liquify (“we,” “us”) lets merchants redesign their Shopify storefront by chatting with an AI. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign in, we collect your name, email address, and profile image if you sign in with Google. This identifies your account and lets us contact you about your service.

Your Shopify store connection

When you connect a store, we store your shop’s domain and name, and an encrypted access token that lets Liquify read and edit your theme, products, inventory, discounts, content, and navigation on your behalf. This token is encrypted at rest and is never visible to us in plain text. We do not request, and cannot access, your customers’ personal information (orders, names, addresses, or payment details) through Shopify.

Content you create

We store your theme files, your chat messages with the AI, and a history of changes so you can review or undo them. This content is yours — we use it only to provide the editing and revert features you see in the product.

Billing information

Payments are handled by Paddle.com Market Ltd, our reseller of record. We store your Paddle customer and subscription IDs and your credit balance, but we never receive or store your card details — Paddle handles that directly.

Usage information

We record how many AI credits each request uses, so we can show you your remaining balance and bill Pro overages correctly.

Who we share information with

We don’t sell your information. We share it only with the services that make Liquify work:

  • Google — if you sign in with Google, for authentication only.
  • Shopify — to read and write your store’s theme and commerce data, using the access you grant when you connect a store.
  • Anthropic — your chat messages and relevant theme content are sent to Anthropic’s Claude API to generate the AI’s responses and edits.
  • Paddle — to process payments and manage your subscription, as our merchant of record.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in and a cookie to protect sign-in forms from cross-site request forgery. We don’t currently use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

How long we keep information

We keep your account and store data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect a store or uninstall Liquify from your Shopify admin, we stop accessing that store, and we delete or redact store and customer-adjacent data in line with Shopify’s app requirements. You can request full account deletion at any time (see Contact below).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.

Children

Liquify is a business tool for merchants and isn’t directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify you directly.
